We believe that healing is more than just a matter of brain chemistry, and more than just a matter of talking about problems. Brain chemistry and talk can be important elements of healing, but equally important are the body, the emotions, the spirit, and our relationships with others and with ourselves.

At Psych Choices, we offer an array of alternatives because we believe that people need to choose for themselves which aspects of healing are right for them. In our office, we can provide the following options:

  • Holistic psychiatric evaluation which will address nutrition, exercise, and spirituality as well as mental and emotional symptoms
  • · Psychiatric medication management
  • Guidance and recommendations for the use of nutritional and herbal supplements to relieve symptoms
  • · Psychotherapy to help explore emotions, behaviors, and thought patterns that have caused problems
  • Instruction in techniques of breathing and meditation as therapy
  • Hypnotherapy for mental, emotional and physical healing
  • · Marriage and family counseling, including:
    • Help with child and adolescent behavior problems
    • Sex therapy to help individuals and couples with sexual difficulties
    • Support for the partners and families of individuals with addictive behaviors or mental illness
We accept most health insurance plans. For those without insurance that we can accept, we offer a sliding fee scale.
