Employment with Psych Choices
Clinical Staff Opportunities
We receive numerous referrals every week and are often in need of experienced therapists licensed in psychology, clinical social work, marriage & family therapy, or licensed professional counselors. We are also open to resumes from psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, as our needs may vary from time to time.
Our Delaware County practice is friendly and open, with 15 clinical offices. Other clinicians are almost always available for collegial and case discussion. Our clinical director, Michael Montie, provides ongoing clinical supervision as needed for all of our therapists.
We require Pennsylvania licensure, and prefer at least 2 to 3 years of post-licensure experience for therapists. We also prefer therapists and psychiatric staff who are willing to see patients of all ages. We find that the demand for couple therapy is especially high.
If you are not yet on any managed care insurance panels, we will complete that paperwork for you, but please understand that it can take 4 months or more to complete this paperwork, and you may not be assigned any patients until this credentialing process is complete.
Our therapists begin on a part time, fee for service basis. Psychiatrists usually begin part time as well. All therapists, whether full time or part time, must work at least two evenings until 9 p.m. and/or weekends. Psychiatrists are asked to work until 6 p.m. at least once a week.
For therapists who see at least 30 patients per week, salaried positions are available, with health and disability insurance benefits, paid time off, and bonuses for productivity.
We have an experienced support staff and are proud to be using Valant, an electronic system for practice management and clinical notes.

Administrative Staff Opportunities
We are often in need of skilled and experienced office staff. Opportunities may exist for reception, billing, and other administrative areas. Hourly rates are competitive. For those working 30 hours or more, health and disability insurance benefits are available as well as paid time off.
You should have at least one year of experience in a medical or behavioral health setting. It's important that you know how to express kindness and compassion to patients who may be very challenging in their behavior at times. It's also essential to be a team player, able to accept supervision and work with others in a friendly and cooperative manner.
